Next to be featured in our ever popular “Get to know us” blog series: Manicure Maven, is Chelsea: intern and shop girl. This lady is involved in a little of everything. Between working in the store and interning to help guide our web presence, she is all over the place. She carries a bright pink notebook with her everywhere, adores anything from Maison Scotch and loves mixing new and thrifted pieces for unconventional outfits. Here she is featured wearing Butter London Nail Lacquer in Pimms and jewelry from 31 Bits and OlliPop.

Chelsea’s taste in polish is ever-changing. She loves using her nails as an accessory and she loves color so she rarely keeps one shade on for too long. Her style often reflects her bold, but somewhat scattered personality. She loves bright colors, mixing prints and making a statement with color and texture. Her favorite piece in the store right now is the Bridge and Burn Seneca Sweater because she loves mixing stripes and polka dots. Her nails sometimes get a teensy bit chipped, but since she loves changing her color out so often, they tend to look fresh (for the most part). Read on to learn more about her manicure style!

Q+A with Chelsea: The Color Lover

Q: What’s your favorite butter london nail polish color?

A: Silly Billy! I love unexpected colors for nails and I would wear this shade of orange all year ’round.

Q: When planning your outfit, do you coordinate your nails with it?

A: No! Sometimes my nail color ends up going with my outfit, but it’s usually by accident. I kind of like it when my colors clash! It’s a fun way to add character to an outfit.

Q: If you were a manicure, what would you look like?

A: Like a sorbet! Smooth, juicy and boldly colorful.
