Spotlight Wednesday: Free People Dresses

As the season’s change and the weather gets a bit nicer we are excited to get the chance to wear more of two of our favorite things: 1) Free People, and 2) dresses! We have gotten a lot of great new items from the brand in as of late, but we can’t help but be excited about all the great Free People dresses we are beginning to get! With their more subdue coloring, these dresses are perfect to work into your wardrobe as that transition from Winter to Spring is being made, without forgoing the fun, flirty style Free People is associated with.

If we were forced to describe this GORGEOUS Free People Indian Enchantment Dress in Black Combo in one simple word we would probably have to go with… flattering. This dress is all about making a women look good, even with it’s somewhat revealing bustier-top cut. The Free People Indian Enchantment maxi dress features a lovely ruffled bottom hem and cinched fabric detailing at middle of bust. What’s better is that the garment comes with adjustable and removable shoulder straps are adjustable which allows you more control over how the dress looks and feels.

Free People dresses

We love how Free People clothing always has that laid-back beach vibe mixed with the fun, music-festival twist and that’s pretty much exactly how we’d describe the Free People Peace Maker Dress in Black Combo. With more of a tunic-look, this dress is perfect for slipping on with a pair of sandals or cute little booties and hanging out with friends at the park. The red, white and black color mix goes great with the bohemian pattern of the dress, making it stand out without being so loud and overpowering.

(From left to right) Free People Lace Swing Dress in Black: Another LBD that you’re sure to love. Frilly lace makes this dress feminine, yet you can totally pair it with a leather jacket and some kick a** boots and you instantly got that tough, edgy look. Free People Voile Trapeze Slip in Blush: More a tunic than a dress, the Free People Voile Trapeze slip is adorable and layerable. Pair with leggings or thicker tights, a long tank top underneath and cute jean vest for a fun, youthful look. Free People In and Out Ditsy Florals Slip in Tea: We love the bouncy ruffled skirt of this dress, which just so happens to be great at flattering your backside if you happen to be lacking in that department. The fun “ditsy” floral pattern is fantastic for Spring!
