I had the privilege last night of attending Soluna Grill’s Sunday Supper Club. Sunday Supper Club is a once monthly five course dinner pared with 4-5 wines.
Everything was amazing and I tried some new foods …. Sweet bread for one “Sweetbreads or ris are culinary names for the thymus (throat sweetbread) and the pancreas (heart or stomach sweetbread), especially of the calf (ris de veau) and lamb (ris d’agneau) (although beef and pork sweetbreads are also eaten).” Luckily I asked not to be told what part it was until after I ate it – and boy was it delicious!
We also met some great people. We found out a lot about Blackbird Wineshop and will definitely be hitting up Blackbird for their atomic truffles …YUM!
