One of the best things about the new store (among a million other things) is the Denim Wall! We can finally display our expanded collection, featuring different styles, cuts and colors. Just in time for the new fall shipment!
While all jeans fit differently on everyone (we encourage you to come in and try some new and different styles), we’ve put together a quick guide to some of our most popular denim.
Skinny Jeans: Form-fitting, with a bit of stretch to maintain that body-hugging silhouette – you can wear them with heals or tuck them into boots. Make a fashion statement in our Paige Premium Denim – Hidden Hills Straight Leg, a great basic skinny that aren’t super tight and with a higher rise so you can bend over comfortably. Not yet on line is our Vergugo Jegging (please call the store for more info) which is a form-fitting crossover between leggings and jeans. With Jeggings, there’s no bunching at the knees when you tuck them into boots; it’s smooth and streamlined. Pair this with the Prairie Underground Hoodie for a classic, feminine Fall look.
Boot Leg Jeans: Loose through the leg and wide at the opening, boot leg cut jeans elongate your legs – a fall and winter wardrobe staple. We recommend Hidden Hills in Twilight. The darker twilight wash is slimming and the stretch is great for a soft, comfortable fit. We also have the same pants Petite – same fit as the regular Hidden Hills but the knee breaks in the right spot. The look is long and lean and is an essential in any woman’s wardrobe.
Boyfriend Jean: The Agave Boyfriend is our best selling boyfriend jean. Medium rise and roomy in the hips, you can wear it as a straight leg or cuff it up for that signature boyfriend look.
Trouser Fit: Spice up your denim collection with crisp trouser jeans. Agave Fortuna Trouser and Kut from the Kloth Gale Trousers both have great stretch with a nice rise. Both feature a faded wash for a lived-in feel, yet maintain all the details which make trouser jeans an option for all but the dressiest of occasions.
Flared Leg Jeans: Flared leg jeans have a wide, flared opening and are great for lengthening the leg and for that tucked shirt look. Try the J Brand Kiki Highrise or the Bette Highrise which features dual pockets for a 70’s feel. We think this style looks best on taller women.
Cords: An alternative to denim, cords are a huge statement for Fall this year. The Skyline Skinny brown cords are stretchy, comfortable and soft.
Nicole’s Pick: I’m really loving the Bentley in Evergreen. These cords are super flattering and fit a curvy body beautifully. It has a rich, dark green wash and goes with brown or black and is very versatile. It’s super stretchy and soft and I love it because you can dress it up or dress it down – the slightly wide leg looks great with a heel. It’s one of those pairs of pants that you can wear with anything so you’re not limited.
